Background draws too much attention from the barely there remains. I like and appreciate the idea and thought behind the photo, but it's too busy. Open the aperture up and blow out the background some.

Thanks for the input! I do like the busyness, but agree that the remains could definitely stand out a bit more. Tweaked the levels to try and strike a better balance.

I prefer the first one that you posted. Interesting figure/ground reversal.
