I haven't started it yet because it is a Cosmere book and I have fallen behind on that universe. Is there anything I should read before I pick it up?

That's a good question! I think you could read this first, but doing so may spoil some things about the Stormlight Archive IF you read some sentences very carefully and commit them to memory. Don't do that if you intend to read this first, or just read Stormlight before Yumi.
