@[email protected] I know what its like, in the UK its rarely perfect. To many clouds, sun to high in the sky, rain, etc. Still, you got plenty of detail in the bird..
@[email protected] Thanks. I have been out in the garden every evening after work getting used to it more.
I was really happy with detail in the Greenfinch photos I posted. I just need to get better at composition.
@[email protected] Composition is often secondary with wildlife. I crop a lot (part compose post image). Better to get a shot than miss one through composition. Having said that, with a bit of patience and learning bird behaviour, composition becomes easier
@[email protected] I get what you’re saying but I am still making some basic mistakes here or there. Like just side step a touch to manoeuvre a branch out of the way a bit or get a little lower etc.
@[email protected] don't worry about it. It comes with time. Each bird I take, I try and make sure my next one (of a given species) is better/different from the last. So, if I see an owl I haven't seen before, it's more important to me to capture an image, next time I can relax knowing I have one, and usually that results in a better/different image.
