Lego is so old that the patent on lego expired like a decade ago. Now you have alternatives like https://mouldkingcorp.com/
Damn they have some nice looking "space wars" sets
Wonder how pissed my nephew would be if I started getting him these...
The quality of some of these are way better than mega blocks but still not up to the par of Lego in most cases. In my experience knockoff mini figs are better made than loose bricks.
