Not ALL life on Earth. Just a large chunk of biodiversity.

Blackberry bushes will survive until the Earth is literally enveloped by the Sun.

Why do you guys show up with this comment every time climate change is mentioned? The fact that some life will continue should not be comforting to you when we're talking about the needless death of practically everything you've ever laid eyes on. It's OK to let that be the focal point of the conversation.

Technically correct. There's so much biodiversity in even the tiniest niches that new life forms will prosper in abundance and in variety. "All life" simply is anthropocentric bullshit - the opposite will come true: The demise of humankind will be beneficial to the biosphere of this planet.
It's a huge relief to know that humankind will not and cannot kill "all life" - as shitty as we are in terms of nearly everything we are still not able to end everything (that'll be up to mechanics far, far beyond our capabilities).

the goal though is to have earth life outlast the sun. bugs ain't gonna do it.
