Haha amazing. I switched over yesterday from lemmy.world to this one so that I could actually see .ml and hexbear posts, and this is the first one I’ve seen.

Absolutely zero regrets.

Lemmy.world is still federated with lemmy.ml, they might have meant lemmygrad?

Oh maybe. Either way, I want all the commie subs and Lemmy.world seems to be against them.

Lemmy.world "preemptively defederated from Hexbear as a last resort" because we said stuff like, "The West’s role in the world, through organizations such as NATO, the IMF, and the World Bank - among many others - are deeply harmful to the billions of people living both inside and outside of their imperial core.” They are pro-NATO dronies who don't allow criticism of the organization.

"Preemptive"

"Last resort"

Anyone remember when words meant things?

Yeah for real. That read to me as stupid too.

Seriously though I looked through the list of instances defederated from Lemmy.world and it was a mile long. Fuck that shit, I want more content and interaction, not less.

At least it made for a funny meme lol

I’m pretty sure English speaking cultures have always been this way
