I‘m sesrching for a deticated IP (based in Switzerland!) which I can install on my Router. I should work from Home in Switzerland but want to travel a bit. i know my company has some security software that tracks when someone is out of Country. I tried a famous VPN (CG) but it doesnt allow their dedicated IP on Routers. I have a Zyxel NR2301-Router. Any advise? Would be really apprechiated!

Maybe not quite the right sub, but you guys seem to be the most switched on to this niche question:

I am overseas and I'm successfully using some of my home countries betting apps on my laptop with VPN. My laptop has no GPS so some betting services are fine with VPN through their website (others are not).

However, it is not portable enough for me and as my phone and tablet have GPS, and the apps can't be accessed with Location Services switches.

As I see it, my choices are to find a small 8in laptop (they seem to exist) or find an android tablet with no GPS.

I can identify tablets with no GPS but I am worried that this still may not work as maybe the tablet uses some other method to estimate location, whereas the laptop doesn't even attempt to. I would still be using apps vs website.

Any help or re-direct would be appreciated.

Hello, I was successfully using premium through a Vietnam VPN for nearly a year. But yesterday my YouTube premium account was suddenly removed. Any idea if this still works currently?

Don’t want my employer to know I am working abroad and not sure if some systems might have VPN blocking. Is traffic obfuscation fool proof to hide location? Thanks !

Hi, can anyone recommend VLESS clients like hiddify, v2rayN, nekoray, but for Linux ARM architecture, not x64?

I see a lot of discussion about AI impacting user privacy, but can AI potentially be used to improve VPN technology and secure user anonymity and privacy?

I understand why most VPN providers don’t include it, but I’m wondering if there are any that do

Has anyone used one and can say that it works similarly to regular VPN And can it be connected directly to a smart tv?

My research says a slow down of 10 - 30% is normal, maybe even up to 50%.

My work VPN slows down my internet speed by 80% which seems ridiculous to me.

Who should solve the problem? Ivanti VPN or my employer (by adjusting VPN server settings)? My VPN server appears to be 1 state away, which doesn't seem too difficult to me.

Hi.

I have to give a series of tests online for an new job project, but issue is it can be accessed only from my home country.

But I am abroad. Naturally vpn is the answer.

Further, I was told that the testing software would raise a red flag if my IP address changes frequently.

So I have to keep the same IP address every time I give the tests.

I would be very grateful if I can get instructions on how to achieve this. Keeping the same IP address every time I give the test?

Attempting the test will take like a week btw, so doing it in one go will not be possible.

Hey guys so I've been looking for a way to do this for quite some time and I've came across some apps like every proxy but they require additional steps like entering the proxy and port on the device connected to your mobile's data. What i want is directly sharing my VPN over hotspot without root.

I connect to my local machine at work via VPN

I had no issues in past with previous two phones (Galaxy S21 and Google Pixel 4a 5g)

Since purchasing Iphone 16 pro max, if I am hotspotting from my iphone, I am unable to connect to my VPN

This is a PP2P Tunnel that links directly to my work machines.

I've come to the realisation that apple doesn't allow or at least natively support PP2P VPN's.

Are there any work arounds for this?

I purchased a VPN service (very popular one) and am supposed to get 10 devices for my annual fee of abouut 60 USD. I am based in Ireland. Edited to add, I purchased it on my Amazon account as an annual subscription.

I used the service on my Amazon fire stick, but when I bought another fire stick and logged in using my email address it says I do not have an active account - when I am supposed to be able to have 10 devices on this plan.

Any ideas, thanks all as I do not want to have to buy another sub for this fire stick.

I need to ensure that my dedicated residential IP address service is working as promised.

The 2 websites I depend on for "VPN detection" are:

whatismyipaddress.com

AND

vpnapi.io

Are there better websites to check if my IP address is a VPN?

Also, is using a website like this even a reliable way to detect a VPN?

Thank you!

Hey folks,

I'm an EU resident (France specifically), and I've been trying to access Sora in the US, but it seems like Sora is blocking my VPN. Has anyone else faced this issue? If so, are there any effective workarounds or VPNs that still work?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I need some advice regarding VPN and domain blocking. I use software from Overloud (pirated versions, to be transparent), and for the plugins to work correctly, I need to block the domain overloud.com on my PC.

The problem is that when I enable my VPN, the domain blocking seems to be bypassed. As a result, the plugins check the license, and they switch to demo mode.

Is there a way to set up my system so that overloud.com stays blocked even when my VPN is active? I’d appreciate any tips or step-by-step instructions on how to fix this.

P.S. I use the Hiddify VPN

Thanks in advance!

Hi all. I have two beryl ax. One at home one with me. I routed my travel router to connect back home, chicago. I thought everything was good because when i look up my ip, its at home. My computer shows me weather and traffic from back at home. However, today i googled "mcdonalds" excited to show my friend how my router works. It came up mcdonalds with where i really am. I googled my location and it says i am where i really am. But when i google my ip address on google it says my home in chicago where i routed back to.

It seems to specifically be a google problem. When i search "mcdonalds" on microsoft edge, i get mcdonalds near my house in chicago. When i search my location on microsoft edge i get my home in chicago. And my device shows me weather and traffic back at home.

Its a microsoft surface pro 8. I have turned off bluetooth and location services.

Anyone know why this is?

Not sure if this is a silly question or not, but if I had a VPN on. Would someone viewing my encrypted IP address be able to find my real ISP still?
