Hello Lemmies! French Trekkie here.

I tried to post this ages ago on the other site and wasn't able to do so. But I am the king of the World now.

So, about my post I guess I'm not the first to notice, but it genuinely came to me when I was taking a shower, and we are here for a fresh start, aren't we?

PS: I'm fine with the Britts invading France as long as you keep your food and your monarchy on your island.

EDIT: words were missing

I'd like to think im not a stupid person, but sometimes I'm not too confident. Perhaps most of my "stupid moments" stem from this.

There was a period of time when people had to memorize the alphabet before there was a song.

Crossposted from https://lemmy.one/comment/283051:

Does anyone else think it’s a little backwards that the large denominations are fragile paper bills, but the small ones are metal coins sometimes worth less than the metal in the coin? Shouldn’t the large denominations be coins, which last longer, and the small denominations be bills, which are easier to carry in large quantities?

The rest of the Briefs family has underwear-themed names: his wife, Panchy (panties); his daughter, Bulma (or Buruma, for bloomers); his grandson Trunks and his granddaughter Bulla (or Bra). But Dr. Briefs never has a first name!

They should have called him Wychi, for tighty-whities.

Also because Dr. Wychi sorta sounds like Dr. Wily. Maybe that's why he never got a name.

I created this community because it was my favorite on Reddit and I couldn't find one on Lemmy.

If the mods from reddit want to to moderate this community, I am happy to welcome them. They do a great job!

Maybe spez is intentionally destroying Reddit. Because all their moves are illogical. It doesn't make sense.

Exposure to nature is healing and soothing. People recovering in hospitals spend a lot of time waiting. I think it would be great if live nature cam feeds were made available in hospitals and patients could text to a number when species appear or events happen.

A portion of the screen would display the picture and name of the species to look out for and the code you need to text to the number.
