I was reading a few web novels before kemono went down. Does anyone know any good alternatives to it for Patreon?

I'm practising editing and unfortunately I neither have a lot of space nor time for downloading a whole movie or sometimes multiple movies for editing. So, I'm guessing there should be somewhere a torrent site that has scenepacks of movies. If such sites do exist please let me know. Thank you in advance. 🙂🙏

There's a movie that was released recently that my younger sister really wants to see (I won't say what it is as per rule #3), but can't because it is quite violent. However, I just learned of a "censored cut" that was released in China, toning down the amount of blood in the film. I have looked several places for a good version of this film, but I keep ending up with either the uncensored version, or a Chinese version with burned-in subtitles (which are annoying).

If you know of any good, reliable sites for me to check out that may have what I'm looking for (the censored cut with no subtitles), please lmk! Thanks a bunch in advance!

So it has recently come to my attention that several iOS users on here are not aware of sideloading. So I am making a guide here, on the easiest foolproof method to sideload on iOS. It will cost ~$30/device.

  1. Buy a certificate. Usually around $30 for a device lifetime, or $10/yr. You can look on r/sideloaded for lots of places, such as AppTesters (https://apptesters.org/purchase-certificate) feel free to use code “yodaluca23”. Usually you have to renew every year, so they can free up inactive slots, and Apple may revoke the certificate, but you should be issued a new one.
  2. Using whatever initial method is provided by whoever you bought it through, sideload Feather (https://github.com/khcrysalis/Feather/releases/latest) get the .ipa file, not .tipa.
  3. Whoever you bought it through should provide you with a .p12 file and .mobileprovison and possibly a password. Send these to your phone.
  4. Open feather > Settings > Add Certificate > Plus Button.
  5. Populate the fields with the corresponding files/password.
  6. Click save
  7. If you want to be able to use all entitlements (get notifications and other such) go to Feather > Settings > Signing Options > “Enable Protections” to off.
  8. Save in top right.
  9. Then go to the Sources tab.
  10. Here you can add app repositories, .json files with links to apps, here is the list of the repositories I use, https://pastebin.com/raw/u0wxiGug
  11. Copy it all, then Sources Tab > Add Repo > Import Repositories.
  12. Your done! Now you can search for basically any popular app, and get a cracked version!

Some app specifics I recommend: Spotify: EeveeSpotify- (Search GitHub) YouTube: uYouEnhanced, or YTLitePlus (search GitHub) Discord: Bunny, or Enmity (search GitHub)

Also if y’all have any questions use the search bar on r/sideloaded chances are your question has been asked and answered.

I've been paying for a Linode VPS for a few years now. I tunnel my home network through wireguard to this VPS as a self-hosted VPN. Just recently relocated my server to another region and now getting copyright infringement notices when I was getting none before doing heavily more torrenting. I'm bullshitting them saying I've handled the incident locally. Is it time to find another VPS provider? What are some recommended VPS providers that are (optionally) US based? I don't want a VPN provider, I'm aware of Mullvad and friends, I'd rather be in control of my own tunnel as my VPS isn't just being used as an egress tunnel.

Check out r/sideloaded!

If you are below iOS 17, check if you can jailbreak with this guide. It allows customization and better control over your system. Jailbreaking can sometimes be useful for pirating too.

You need to use a sideloading method to install apps online. Scroll down to see some app examples.

Sideloading methods depending on iOS version:

iOS 14.0 beta 1 and below: Jailbreak + AppSync Unified tweak

14.0 beta 2 - 16.7 RC TrollStore

16.7 - 16.7.10 If compatible, jailbreak with palera1n and the TrollStore Lite tweak, otherwise SideStore + SparseBox (recommended) / AltStore + Livecontainer

17.0 beta 1 - 17.0 TrollRestore

17.0.1 and above SideStore + SparseBox (recommended) / AltStore + Livecontainer

Some apps you can sideload

iTorrent

EeveeSpotify

YTLitePlus/Youtube Reborn+

Netflix VIP

Your own responsibility, there's a small chance you can get spyware if you install IPAs via TrollStore and ignore the yellow/orange warning text.

More apps available (check apps.json and search)

Windows defender marked it as a high threat but it was from the official fitgirl repacks site and I have downloaded from there before without issues. I know it's a pretty recent release but I doubt it has anything to do with that.

Hello. Do you want to install Spotify premium on your iOS phone for free? This is the guide for you.

Disclaimer: This is not an illegal method, since it's like you're installing a mod to an app, perfectly legal in EU member states. If you're not in the EU this practice is illegal (if you don't want to take the risk use a vpn).

Apple has always been very strict with third-party apps, so it is (theoretically) not possible to install third-party apps on iOS devices without jailbreak or complex methods. With this guide I will show you how to get Spotify premium for free without any kind of jailbreak or comoplex methods, because this ban is circumventable with the use of a pc. To do this we will use SideLoadly, a program that allows you to “load” apps from your pc to your iPhone only with the help of a usb cable and authorization to your AppleID.

Requirements:

  • iPhone (iOS 7 or higher)

  • pc

  • usb cable to connect pc to your iPhone

Procedure

  1. Download iTunes and SideLoadly from the official site and run them it on your pc.
  2. Download the latest stable release available from the official EveeSpotify GitHub page. Download the latest stable release available from the official EveeSpotify GitHub page. You need to download the .ipa file present there.
  3. Open SideLoadly, connect your iPhone to your pc via a usb cable, and select it from the detected devices. Import the .ipa file you just downloaded into SideLoadly and enter your AppleID email.
  4. Press Start, enter your AppleID password, and continue.
  5. When SideLoadly notifies you that it's finished, if everything was successful, there will be a new Spotify app icon on your iPhone somewhere in your home screen.
  6. On your iPhone open settings -> General -> VPN and device management, then add your email to authorized developers.
  7. Again from iPhone settings -> Privacy and security -> Development mode, then turn it on. Accept the terms and restart the phone.
  8. If everything was successful, you will be able to use Spotify premium for free after the restart. At this point you can also delete the “original” Spotify app.

For more tips or any issue, before ask please check r/sideloaded.

I hope this guide was helpful to you. Now you can listen to music without commercial interruptions and various annoyances. Enjoy ;)

I would like to take a moment to think about what Aaron Swartz had achieved.

This man founded Reddit and no-one really acknowledges his existence. I want people to know about Aaron Swartz especially in hard times like these with free speech being suppressed.

Aaron fought for free speech and we (THE PEOPLE) need to fight back for free speech. Our voices need to be heard NOT SUPPRESSED!

I just wanted to post this as we need to fight back against the system!

Here is a few articles I have found:

How the Legal System Failed Aaron Swartz—And Us

More students to be ‘hounded and silenced’ on campuses after free speech law abandoned

Campus protestors are being silenced—where are the ‘free speech’ defenders now?

Why is our so-called democratic society suppressing freedom of speech?

What's your opinion on downloading roms or a DVD for safe keeping for about 3-5 years, I want to save all the roms like Xbox 360 switch Wii etc. I just wanna save them until I'm able to save enough money for 150TB+ of storage. Which would be around 2028.

I'm trying to make my audiobook library bigger with some spicy monster books. I've been using mobilism and audiobookbay but not all the books on abb are downloading because lack of seeders and mobilism doesn't have all the books I want. Libby and hoopla doesn't work with my small town library I already know about them unless if there's a way to get a universal library card for those apps?

Thank you.

Oh hi, it's first time here. I'll tell about why I'm join piracy.

The story starts when I was young. I am somewhat intellectual. So I like reading, watching documentaries, commentaries, and essays, and listening to podcasts.

At really first moments, my mom isn't really against what I am learning, I have been digging deeper and deeper. I haven't committing any piracy.

Some turning points of my life is in supposedly (I vividly remember.) after Prayut's coup supposedly after turning 2. Supposedly when I was 7-9 years old (Supposedly 3rd grade-6th grade.). My aunt and mom brainwashed me. Turns me into salim. I've gotten interests in politics, my stances on various issues are progressive despite aligning with reactionaries. Because, I'm more logical than other kids who whine. I am prohibited from watching comments from other internet individuals who my mom and aunt disagree with (That's why I have need with authoritarianism not because of the name but rather consequences in my life which the hatred will last for eternity.). And that's why I started to rebel against parental authority that prohibited my studies and dig deeper into theories.

Rabbit hole of knowledges are infinites, piracy is the vehicle, billions must join intellectual liberation

Now, supposedly in late 2022, I've gotten interests in philosophy, my mom and aunt act against me for taking such niche interests. All of the philosophical literature must be paid with money. I started looking thorough all blogs to learn more about stances. Things are getting heated.

In early 2023, my philosophical studying is at its weakest. I discovered polcompball in mid 2023, I discovered "Piratism", I've found the method, if no one is supporting my studying, I'll rely on illegal methods.

That's why I starts my pirate journey, afterall it's all about my goal in life, if all knowledges wasn't locked behind paywall. All of this wouldn't happened. If my mom and aunt wasn't monitoring my learning and embrace my curiousity and listen to my analysis. My trauma wouldn't happened. All of piracy wouldn't happened if some "intellectuals" doesn't lock their works behind money.

I'm not against capitalism but I'm against copyright. I do not support art piracy, because for me artists still have rights to own their originality of expressions in such works.

Thanks you for reading.

I got Amazon Prime after so long of going without even using my account to buy shit. Well, now that I have a house away from the city (i.e., away from the stores) that needs to be maintained, I actually need to rely on online shopping now since I can't afford to just drive to the nearest store for three hours one way. I got Prime to cut down on shipping, mostly. Imagine my surprise when I found out I got Prime Video with it.

I thought this was my chance to not pirate so much since I did want to give the new Yakuza show a try. For context, I bought Yakuza 0 on Steam during a sale and I was so satisfied that I already bought three more games in the series when they went back on sale and I'm still planning to pick off the rest.

Yeah, well, since I usually go for years without making a purchase, Amazon thought it was strange that I'd want to give them several hundred dollars at once in order to prevent my house from becoming my tomb over the winter, so they disabled it. Can't even access the streaming now, and since it's been over two weeks since I signed up for Prime, they ain't refunding shit.

I know the video streaming isn't the priority here, but this is it. The last straw. Never again. The time and effort isn't worth it to consume streaming content legally. I'm more likely to pirate than buy physical releases due to limited funds, but still. At least I'd have something to show for it if I gave what little money I had to entertainment I enjoy.
