There’s too much controversy around the official lemmy instance lemmy.ml due to their politics. However I really like the distributed nature of lemmy as opposed to the monolithic and hierarchical nature of raddle.

So I guess, I have to do this myself. This is now the official fallback forum for /r/piracy, away from toxic politics but still vehemently anti-copyrights.

For now I’m allowing the posting of magnet links, but don’t link files directly as I don’t want the eye of Sauron on me.

I've been sailing the browser seas for a decade and remember ace stream and some other VLC like streams where you would just plug the URL in and get INCREDIBLE quality streams full HD 60fps it was heaven ... now all the streams I get are low bitrate 30 fps 720 at very best. Can anyone point me back in the right direction I'm sick of these crappy sites

Where are some good sites to look for artbooks, particularly those based around video games? I find it hard to come across them in other book, comic or manga archives

I'm considering ProtonVPN to replace mullvad as they do have port forwarding for torrenting. I also did a quick search for VPN communities, but didn't find any. Maybe just not from my instance.

Just wondering if they'll end up axing port forwarding, if I pay for a extended length plan and then they axe the feature, I will have wasted quite a bit of money. At least with mullvad, it was monthly anyway, so not much to lose.
