The residents of Phedi of Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality and Patheka of Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi Municipality have joined hands with government authorities and organisations working on red panda conservation to protect the endangered species. They have been launching awareness campaigns and measures to control poaching simultaneously for red panda conservation.

In 2007, Nepal's Supreme Court ordered the government to legally recognize a third gender category, audit laws to identify discriminatory ones, and explore recognition of same-sex relationships. Eight years later, a new constitution came into effect that has language specifically protecting LGBTQI people. So. Nepali Hacker Tops Hall of Fame by Reporting Facebook's Zero-Click Flaw

Samip Aryal, a Nepali cybersecurity researcher, discovered a zero-click flaw in Facebook's password reset system that bypassed rate-limiting and allowed brute-forcing of 6-digit security codes. His findings, which could enable account takeovers, earned him a top spot in Facebook's Hall of Fame for White-Hat Hackers 2024. Aryal responsibly disclosed the vulnerability, which was promptly fixed. Users are advised to enable two-factor authentication and use strong passwords to protect against such threats.
