Art of Post-Apocalyptic, Destroyed, or Post-Post-Apocalyptic Settings

Guidelines

  1. Titles should be in the format "[Title]" by [Artist]
    • If adding the artists social media handle after their name, use [square brackets]
    • If adding a year after the title, use (parenthetical brackets)
    • If posting your own art, preface the title with [OC]
  2. Please include the original source in the post body
  3. This community is meant for showcasing artists' work - this excludes
    • AI generated artwork
    • Screenshots from films or games
  4. Submitting the link from the original source instead of downloading and rehosting is recommended
    • This will ease server stress on smaller lemmy
    • /!\ Many mobile apps don't generate previews unless the url ends with a common file extension /!\
    • Therefore, if possible, please strip all parameters after .png, .jpg, etc.instances
  5. Mark posts as NSFW when necessary (nudity/violence)

POP CULTURE DYSTOPIA

PART TWO

In this ongoing series I’m exploring dystopian world of pop-culture icons.

The main goal of this series is to learn how to use Substance Painter and how to implement it in my texturing workflow. Majority of the textures are made procedurally in Substance Designer. In this part I also started creating and using photogrammetry assets I made with Sony A7 and Agisoft Photoscan

Tools used: Cinema 4D, Octane Render, 3D Coat, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, World Machine, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Zbrush and Agisoft Photoscon.
