Decaying, Decrepit, and Dilapidated Hamlets and Dwellings

Artwork showing urban or societal degradation; run-down, grungy, or ramshackle yet inhabited and populated towns or houses

Is it derelict, or abandoned and then re-inhabited? then it may be more suited to Imaginary Wastelands

gotham concept art for "The Batman", i believe

there's more concept art that fits here, although it's a lot more batmannish so i'm putting it in a

batman standing moodily on some gothic buttresses, staring at a smog-filled gotham

POP CULTURE DYSTOPIA

PART TWO

In this ongoing series I'm exploring dystopian world of pop-culture icons.

The main goal of this series is to learn how to use Substance Painter and how to implement it in my texturing workflow. Majority of the textures are made procedurally in Substance Designer. In this part I also started creating and using photogrammetry assets I made with Sony A7 and Agisoft Photoscan

Tools used: Cinema 4D, Octane Render, 3D Coat, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, World Machine, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Zbrush and Agisoft Photoscon.

concept art for a great-looking mistborn game, but i think it may unfortunately have been quietly cancelled as there's been no word since 2021 and the website is down

it's a different image to the other posts, but it's from the same artstation project so i'm cross-posting it for transparency
