I haven't had the opportunity to play GG in a while given work and other games, but I main Goldie and remember him being considered good but not top tier last I played. Now that I'm looking at some of the newer tier lists, it seems like he's shot up in the rankings. I love some behemoth typhoons so it's cool to see him higher up, but I'm curious as to why he's perceived as better nowadays?

I'm not amazing at the game or anything, but I do remember how his pressure is crazy once he's going and white WA giving him some juice. Maybe it's connected to that?

Every other character with a blue wild assault has something to set up or manage. Characters with "setplay" like fausts items, bridgets yoyo or millias disk have blue. Characters with a resource to actively manage like happy chaos or aba get blue, baiken has tether to set up so she has blue, so why does elphelt? She seems like the outlier and like she would fall more in line with the red wild assault characters, but she's got blue. Johnny is also weird because he has setplay with the cards, but he has red.

i genuinely don’t understand it. ive been interested in the character for a while now, bought the dlc, tried him out and everything about him is so fucking cool. I spent 2 hours straight labbing the most inefficient combo route but that doesn’t matter because it looks sick af. idk how this man does it but every move feels so satisfying. idk if i can do this anymore rambros, johnny is calling and it’s hard to resist

I cannot express how dumb this character looked when he was released. I actually remember thinking “Wow that character looks so stupid, he only has like four moves.”

I can actually say picking him up changed my preference in men. I now ONLY seek out larger older gentlemen with a country look.

His behemoth typhoon is SO FUCKING FUN I just cant believe it. Now all I gotta do is figured out how the fuck im gonna do three 360s on a hit box.
