So, I've found this deal in the bay area that could really work well, seller is a "short sale" which means they are close to being foreclosed on and getting desperate, so I feel this property could work well. The plan is to sell some ethh and pick it up, fix the sheetrock and roof, spruce it up and make a good rental.

But the seller's agent won't accept an ethh wallet as proof of funds. She told my agent "Because you're making an offer in US $, your proof of funds must be denominated in that currency.". On top of that, they've also requested to see an anti-money laundering report on my portfolio that came back 36% red, which is too ''dirty'' for them, also for me lol because i don't know what triggered this lol, but nobody knew that until now.

I am planning to sell the ethh for $ as soon as the seller accepts , but don't want to incur too many fees and or have trouble about it being dirty, i don't wanna occur any freezes. Or if they aren't going to accept it? Does anyone have experience with this, is this normally accepted practice? Someone with experience in real estate, if you could help me out here.

So I don't know all the crypto lingo and I'm still lost with a lot of how it works but I'm curious, is this possible?

Say I want to create my own coin. 1 billion supply.

Is it possible to

-increase the supply or decrease the total supply programically?

-reduce the value of an owners current coin. If coin has 0 activity/movement, relinquish 10% of it's value annually. Send the relinquished amount back to the system (I don't know the proper term for this) to be burned or held. So if 1 coin is valued at $10, the owner would now own 9/10, $9 vs 10/10. The Blockchain would show the coin traveling out of the owners wallet. If coin is in cold storage, it would automatically do checks before any activity is done.

It's all decentralized. You own the coin, but you can still lose it. The fine print is very clear from day 1 and does not change.

Would have posted in /r/binance but they made that sub private (great decision, sends all the right messages about Binance ...)

Lately Binance requests an automated Facial recognition as part of every login, at least in my case -- a Passkey as 2fa is no longer sufficient, it always wants at least 2 or 3 forms of 2fa and one of them is an automated Facial recognition, and it's mandatory.

If anyone from Binance sees this: please stop this nonsense! It keeps me out ... a person can grow facial fair, have swollen parts of the face from a disease, or from aggression, etc ... a host of valid reasons why a facial recognition no longer matches via automated matching!

I really hope otrher exchanges don't start with this nonsense too ... what's next? send over blood samples for DNA matching?

Edits:

1: To people who claim it's geo related: It never required facial recognition until a few weeks ago. My IP or location didn't change. My device hasn't changed (mobile). Apparently this facial recognition has started rolling out only a couple of months back.

2: To people claiming many banks and exchanges use facial recognition for login: which ones exactly? I've never seen or heard of any, apart from Binance. We're talking login, not KYC.

3: To people claiming facial changes aren't an issue becasue "these systems are well designed": clearly you haven't been hit by it, so why do you even reply?

4: To people claiming I must have done shady stuff: you guys never cease to get a kick out of acting mean, take it elsewhere.
