Not my words or my content, but I agree. In a maturing a market, absent outside mega bullish stimulus that lifts all boats, the pump will be highly selective:

"A full on across-the-board “alt season” is such a meme.

I’ve been banging this drum now for years - The natural path for a maturing market is dispersion. Especially in an already extremely diluted market, with projects already at ridiculous valuations.

There aren’t enough bids to go around, the only thing that changes this would be some exogenous event like covid, where massive stimulus entered all at once.

TLDR, be a better picker, or just slap together a basic systematic trend following toolkit."

Last bull market it was NFTs and this time it was mainly memecoins.

Many people assume it could be AI coins/tokens maybe connected to a game where you will earn coins/tokens. Some think it will be Defi 2.0. I've also read something about Bitcoin staking lol. Maybe it also could be a second NFT hype.

I know we cannot see into the future, but what do you think the hype might be in the next bull market?

Btw. Can somebody tell me what AI tokens exactly are? Tokens made by AI or just shitcoins which are containing the name AI in?

Hello, everyone!

I’ve created a new subreddit called r/BinanceWord, dedicated to the Binance Word of the Day (WODL). I noticed there wasn’t an easy-to-find space where people could ask questions or share their results, so I decided to create one myself..

Here’s what you can do on r/BinanceWord

Ask Questions: If you’re stuck on today’s WODL or need tips and hints, feel free to ask.

Share Your Results: Post your completed puzzles or discuss strategies with others.

If this post violates any rules, I apologize in advance to the admins. This is simply meant to let people know about a space where they can connect and discuss the WODL.

Feel free to join and participate if you’re interested!

For those who don’t know. Algorand’s network is going through an update to introduce staking rewards in January.

TDR, known as defi rewards, were a governance controlled pot of funds that would be voted on quarterly.

Voting has been removed, and these rewards are now being gifted to a handful of “defi” platforms. I say defi as these platforms are decentralised via the use of a contract but centralised in bother ownership and decision making.

The largest funds appear to be blocking competition via over incentivising node reward pools.

WTF have I read today. Is this right?

Hi everyone. We are on Step-8 out of 9 to see the distribution amounts being sent to our wallets.

To those who were not aware of the situation, in November 2022, FTX went bankcrupt, and users such as me lost out access to withdraw our balances.

March 2023, FTX users started to receive email from noticing.ra.kroll dot com, outlining the identification of our balances. In that email, the users' Unique Customer Code, and Claims- spelling out the balances of our cryptos.

Throughout the months, proceedings went through as follows;

  1. Initiate Account Owner Authentication
  2. Verify Identity of the Original FTX Account Owner
  3. Know-Your-Customer Process
  4. View Account Balances
  5. View Your Proof of Claim Status
  6. Voting (Of the Proposed Chapter-11 Plan and Implication)
  7. Distribution - Tax Requirement (Tax Forms)
  8. Distribution - Select Provider (2-3 Exchanges were listed)
  9. Distribution of Amounts (Soon)

We have gone through 8 steps, and Step-8 required for us to confirm the Exchange we wish to receive the balances. I've had some people from this subreddit throughout the months/years assisting me with some of the simplest of questions.

Here's to recovering our balances properly. It was estimated that FTX will have up to USD 16.5 billion to repay creditors, and here's to putting back the money into crypto just because that's the right thing to do. Although we had to take some time to see through this process, hopefully everyone got what they were owed.

It has been quite an interesting process seeing this through.

Hardikar wrote that the U.S. Treasury was told by "a third-party software service provider, BeyondTrust, that a threat actor had gained access to a key used by the vendor to secure a cloud-based service used to remotely provide technical support for Treasury Departmental Offices (DO) end users."

Hello everyone,

I've been asking myself for a long time and - I still don't know what people are talking about. Whales are entities with lots of bitcoin, but what do you think they do with it? I just can't think of any reason why it would be great to buy and sell bitcoin to fool anyone, since you don't know what the market will do, even if you have a lot of buying (or selling) power.

So what are they doing?

  • Selling to dump the price - why? Some say to buy cheaper bitcoin, but that doesn't make sense. They already had Bitcoin and sold it at lower prices because of their influence on the markets. There's a good chance that you're selling lower and suddenly the price goes up - meaning you're the loser and will buy for higher prices.
  • Buying to drive up prices - well, that's nice. But that's what everybody does, and it's not even manipulation, it's just how the market works.

You can't tell how the markets are going to react. And statistically it's always better to buy now and sell as late as possible.

Thank you
