Context: pedologists are notoriously Type A amongst environmentalist

Lots of strong opinion on subjective classification.

A mentor of mine has a joke:

If you have three pedologists around a pit, you have 4 opinions. If you shoot two, you still might have 2 opinions.

First was in the mountains. Ended up getting pelted by nickle sized hail the entire way back to the truck

This sucks

Carry extra plastic bags and a change of socks and you'll be ok.

Step 1. Remove wet boot

Step 2. Remove wet sock and dry foot.

Step 3. Put on spare sock. If you don't have one take your Bama sock (if you have one) or sock from dry foot and put it on your wet foot.

Step 4. Put foot in plastic bag

Step 5. Put plastic wrapped foot in wet boot.
