I joined Perchance like a month or two or three ago and had never seen a sign of the creator of this place still being here.

So a bunch of you were probably wondering too.

Looks, from this, like they DO still exist ~^°^~ which is great and means we aren't in a derelict website :)

@Alllo Yep, that is 100% correct, although they haven't been around for weeks (maybe for answering forums and stuff), but they still updating the official plugins to this day.

Perchance has been created since 2017 IIRC, and the AI Text Plugin has been created since September 2023 (see https://lemmy.world/post/5501680)

@Alllo I also noticed that they have updated the advanced tutorial page a week ago.

He vanishes from the forums all the time, but he is still updating perchance stuff.

5. Refrain from requesting Prompts for the AI Tools.

We would like to ask to refrain from posting here needing help specifically with prompting/achieving certain results with the AI plugins (text-to-image-plugin and ai-text-plugin) e.g. "What is the good prompt for X?", "How to achieve X with Y generator?"

You can ask for help with prompting at the 'sister' community Casual Perchance, which is for more casual discussions.
We will still be helping/answering questions about the plugins as long as it is related to building generators with them.
