So I want to buy my missus a tablet or Kindle for Xmas since she loves reading.

The specs of even the latest kindle are very underwhelming and android tablets are far more powerful these days so I downloaded an epub book from a link in the megathread, then according to chat gpt I use my file explorer to share that to the Kindle app and give it a couple of minutes.

The problem is, after I share it and all seems to go well, I get an email from Amazon saying there was internal error and my upload can't be added.

Does anyone have any idea what's going wrong or what I can do differently?

Hello is there a way to get around the issue of not being able to torrent with the free vpns. Are there ways to have BitTorrent on the browsers perhaps and if so does this skip the no p2p rule? Thanks

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get continued access to an AI website that offers a free trial with 100 credits but then requires a subscription afterward.

I've already used my alt account for the free trial and even tried creating a new account using a temp mail service, but the confirmation code the website sends doesn't show up in the temp mail inbox.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of situation before? Is there a workaround or any other method to bypass the subscription requirement or keep using free trail?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

They still get the advertising revenue, commercials, views and everything from websites and do not have to allow comments, so why are main sites like Bilibili for Chinese shows (and others) etc. rejecting anyone outside of the area from viewing most of the TV series they air?

I am currently hunting for a Korean show that I got halfway through and it disappeared... It was actually really interesting other than a little cliche drama and lots of flashbacks woven in, so it is hard to let this go.

(The Guest, Horror, 2021. 9/16 episodes and kisskh.la had a seizure and cannot play it anymore after 10 hours of binging.)

EDIT:

A response: Save your outrage. China literally steals everything it can, fake Disney resorts, fake everything luxury, literally everything. We are on a PIRACY SUBREDDIT so save the condescension... Not biased just honest about practices, it happens, prove me wrong and I will not say anything again, so a Chinese site saying I cannot watch a Korean show because they don't want my American outrage at censorship when I could easily be blocked from leaving any replies is complete fabrication of country rights and censorship.

r/piracy megathread for sports is broken. sportsurge has become a bust. with all major sports streaming sites using the same video player (and i assume servers + stream source etc). Anyone got advice on where sports is streamed these days? all the usuals seem to have been bought out and purposely broken

Trying to setup headtracking for my flight simulator and don't feel like paying 12 bucks for the app. I need to know if I can get the software for free not requesting a link as that violates rule 3.

Edit: also before anyone dares say it yes I searched the magathread and looked through all the apk websites.

Xfinity has sent a few notifications over the past few days that they’ve “blocked a known malicious IP from accessing” one of my devices. I mostly direct download things and I had started looking into a different site than I usually do for getting stuff—obviously I did something stupid. I’ve since deleted the movie files I got when the warnings started and ran a scan of malwarebytes and nothing malicious came up on my device. Xfinity said they’re blocking it, but what do I need to do to protect/stop this? The malicious IPs are from the US and one was from Bulgaria (idk if that’s relevant). I use this device for Plex—do I need to do something to secure that? Thanks in advance for your advice

Edit to add: this happened on a Mac mini

I've been using Mullvad VPN forever and it's always worked great for torrenting. But since like 3 days every torrent is stuck on "Stalled" and I've tried different torrent clients, I've tried different trackers - both public and private ones - and I've tried connecting to VPN in at least a dozen different countries, but nothing works. I have not made any changes, it just stopped working. Has anyone else experienced this?

Finally switched from Chrome to Firefox and took time to import some extensions mainly uBlock Origin or course. Then made the mistake of also adding Privacy Badger.

I made this mistake in chrome before and must have forgot but after installing I noticed using Firefox I would get random pixelation and pixels on random parts of the screen when hovering over links. Made me worry my monitor was failing.

Anyway I removed that extension and things are fine now. When it comes to adblockers more doesn't mean better as they can run into issues with compatibility.

I don't have an Android TV, and I have every way of avoiding Youtube ads (like my phone, PC for example), except on my TV. I heard about Smart Tube and installing it with a Firestick, but I am not sure if thats just for Android TVs or if it also works on a Samsung TV.

I wonder if there is a list anywhere with the games that do not require the DLCs to be downloaded separately and you can only activate them with Cream API. Just to assess if it is worth using it in the future.

Why am i asking this? well because I couldn't find the DLCs on CS dot RIN dot RU so I had to download the whole game, then install it and then copy paste the DLCs to the OG installed game (house flipper).

I can only see Cream API being a great tool if the games already have the dlcs and only need them unlocked, or if you need access to achievements/steam workshop or cloud saves (that for some reason you can't download and store locally to use with the pirated copy)

Could you help me recover a site that provides warez content openly? Not like close sites that need login. I bought a new phone, was sure I did everything to recover my bookmarks and some 15 of 260-ish are still there, the rest is gone. That site is one of many victims.

I don't remember it, because why should one learn it when one keeps a bookmark. Its name starts with "s".

And I'm an idiot.

There were magazines, movies, tv. No music, no ebooks, no audiobooks, no games. Possibly used to have scene-release content or yify. Probably no longer.

Adobe piracy? (zerobytes.monster)

I have not, nor ever considered pirating something. However, with how stupid Adobe’s pricing and stuff is I thought if I could just do that instead of dealing with their crappy prices. Any good piracy websites or other methods to get Adobe products free?

When I run repacks my pc works for like 30 minutes then it start and drops to like 10fps after that it is just stuck like that until I restart my computer. It also shows either almost 100% CPU or GPU usage without there being anything on task manager. I have tried 5 different av and they all said it was good and no malware.

Yeah, apparently the domain expired so I would use 0123 movies.net but the problem is they’re missing seasons and episodes for a lot of shows.

Anyone know any alternates?

I'm mainly watching content on my tablet these days and I thought about starting downloading some torrents because I couldn't find an anime I wanted to dl.

I ended up not finding any recommended client by fmhy with an android release.

Maybe I'm a niche user and that it doesn't exist?

I've begun my voyage for the purpose of expanding my movie library. I started by following the instructions on the Megathread. Honestly, the installations were super simple. I have qBittorrent v5.0.2 binding to Mullvad VPN. What are my next steps?
