When youre overwhelmed with tasks, scale down. Set aside anything that seems pressuring unless it is medically or legally important. Even things from work or school. Ease yourself, then pick up slow. (lemmy.world)

When angry, listen to calmer people. Try to go in the opposite direction of anger. Do not alienate anyone who is trying to deescalate. Opposing views are ok. Goal is to calm down and take action. (lemmy.world)

Proxy feelings are feelings that you feel for things that happened to someone else - for example: you getting angry about someone because your dad told you that they did something bad to him. Sure it might be true but try to have your own relationship with them without ignoring your dad's truth.
