I'm trying to build a plate of various multiboard tiles and connectors. There are dozens of different models and some of them require multiple clones to be created. To say the least manually building the plates is getting a bit tedious. Is there any way to specify this in a configuration file that the slicer reads and it automatically does all the importing/cloning? I'm using OrcaSlicer but open to other options too.

Imagine a csv or json like this:

| File Path | Quantity | |

|

| | "4x3 Multiboard Corner Tile.3mf" | 1 | | "4x4 Multiboard Side Tile.3mf" | 2 | | "8mm - Mounting Offset Snap - DS Part A.3mf" | 4 | | "Quad Snap Connector (DS Part B) - Standard.3mf" | 1 | | ... | ... |

Hi all.

I am seeking for advice on my new project: a pair of brackets that allows my CPU cooler to be mounted rotated by 90 degrees:

The design has been reverse engineered from the original design of the stock brackets.

this is how the original brackets looks like:

I am now looking for advices in general since this is my first time doing this stuff, particularly:

What material would be suitable to hold it's weight (1.5kg, with the center of mass quite low) without flexing?

How about the threads?

Is 3d printing it suggested at all?

Please feel free to share any ideas.

Thanks in advice

Are there any specific ones I should look into getting? I don’t imagine it’s gonna be that insane of a difference per thing but I don’t wanna be breathing in plastic while I sleep.

Recently, I've been printing a lot of Gridfinity bins and have been way too impatient to wait for the bed to cool down.

Since I have a ring on the edge of my build plate, I simply pick the plate up and wave it around the room like an animal 😂. This cools it down quickly, then the build comes off like butter.

Am I damaging my build plate? Should I stop doing this? Or should more attention span-deficient Gen-Z do this?

Hey, I'm in the 3D Design industry and was recently wondering how much people would spend buying some accessories/collectibles/cosplay 3D digital files on platforms with 3D files? I'm talking about just the plain 3D file like an stl/step that you can print on your 3D printer

If you find something really interesting, would you mind if it's above $10, for example, or is the price important to you guys? Any comments are very much appreciated!
