Hi all, currently buying parts for a new Ncase M2 build which will use the Iceman pump res combo. What DDC pumps do people recommend for this application?

Of course noise is one of the biggest factors in this choice. I’ve been looking at the Alphacool Laing DDC310 which is readily available here in the UK. Not sure if anyone has experience with this?

Thanks in advance! 😁

Hi, my pump runs on 4200 rpm on 100% how is that possible? its too loud so i use fancontrol to set it at 50% 3000rpm but how is it running at 4200rpm? I have a asus tuf b650 gaming plus mobo, it has 3 headers, AIO_PUMP, CPU FAN, CPU OPT. The coolers pump header is on AIO pump, FAN is on CPU FAN and VRM is on CPU_OPT

Hello everybody - quick question before I start my upgrade. I have a pretty extensive watercooling setup with four rads which I recently serviced so don’t really want to take everything apart if not necessary. I‘m upgrading my 8700k with a 9800x3D and will replace the motherboard. Would you try a POST of the new components outside of the case with only the installed CPU block and no liquid attached? I have done so before on much older Intel hardware and really want to make sure everything works but am apprehensive of damaging stuff. Any precautions? Or have dead on delivery components not happened much lately?

For reference - Asus WiFi Strix 870E, Trident Z (on OVP list), 9800x3D and WD SN850 SSD

I'm looking to build a really weird form factor computer and need a 130mm x 100mm x 70mm radiator. There are a few 92mm rads that fit my dimensions but a lot of them have fairly low fpi. I'm going to run industrial fans so I'd like as desne find as possible. Are there any vendors that would build a custom radiator for less than 600usd that would fit my specifications? I'm not looking for advice if this is a good idea, I'm looking for who to contact for what I need. Thanks for the help :)

Late Last Year I purchased an EK Nucleus AIO CR360 Dark after my previous Corsair AIO Died, To be honest I'm glad for the Upgrade as my Corsair AIO was neither very good and seemed to worsen over time but more importantly the Software Bloat that ICUE is was plain annoying.

It's why I bought the EK Nucleus, I heard very good reviews on the product and the lack of proprietary software meant I could just run it either directly via the motherboard's own fan control options or use the simplistic 3rd party Fan Control Program by Remi Mercier that has been excellent thus far.

I have plans in the future to upgrade the Entire PC Specs in General as While I'm running a 3900x which is still a decent CPU, I carried over my 1080Ti and PCIE-3 SSD over from my First PC Build. What I'm curious about is what to do about the Thermal Performance of my PC.

I've heard newer components are alot more power hungry these days, and thus push out a lot of heat. On a Good Day my PC can be anywhere between 38*c and 45*C, sometimes even lower than that [once saw it as low as 28-32*C]. Temperature's will slip into the mid 50's range under load while I work or Game. In the Summer it can be anywhere between early to mid 60*C range, sometimes even 70*C.

That's still better than the corsair which eventually was hurtling toward 90*C+ under a normal load.

I Live in a Old House, and my room doesn't exactly have the best ventilation so I'm wondering what I could do to Improve my overall cooling performance once I upgrade my other components So I'd like some advice on PC Cases, Fans and Thermal Compounds please. [I have no experience with Custom Water Cooling, Hence Using AIO's.]

I've heard about Thermal Pads, mainly one named PTM7950. I'm not sure how well this does in comparison to Thermal Paste so some information would be appreciated on the subject, thank you. I've seen documents and videos about it being good for Air Cooling, but nothing on AIO Water Cooling.

Hi, I’m trying to find the best water cooling components to upgrade my setup. •CPU: needs to be for the i9-14900k •GPU: I currently have a block from corsair and for now I’m happy with it •D5 PUMP (+res): it seems like the best option is aquacomputer but it looks like I’ll need to also buy more stuff to control it properly so idk. I’m looking for something large and tall kinda like the pumps from EKWB •Radiators: the EKWB seem to fit well in the case I’m upgrading to but I will hear suggestions as well. •Fittings: I’m looking for golden fittings with a cool design. For now, the ones from EKWB and bitspower seem to be the coolest. •Coolant: my idea was to use some colored coolant but it seems like Corsair’s product aren’t compatible with them? Not sure how the color of the coolant affects anything. I’d rather have something more expensive but slightly better even if the difference in performance isn’t such a thing. (Edit: I have also read that aquacomputer’s D5 are set to 2000rpms and can’t be changed so they are more noisy than the rest of the D5s. Not sure if this is true however as I said, I’m not sure how difficult an aquacomputer build is easy to set since it looks like you have to buy other things to make it all work well).

I decided to pull the trigger on doing a custom loop instead of AIOs but now I find out that EKWB is in trouble and no longer a safe option. I would like to stick with a single company to ensure compatibility and reduce possible leaks or other issues. What company do you experienced water coolers recommend?

Unfortunately, I think I might have to submit an RMA for my Corsair XD3 pump/reservoir as it's started acting up on me the other day. First it started with the pump not running when the system was powered up (had power but no flow), and now has a clicking noise during gaming sessions. I know that it's a discontinued part, but is still under the warranty period so hopefully it will just be replaced with a similar product. Has anyone had experience with their RMA process and have an idea of how long my system would be out of commission? Would it be worth buying a cheap pump/reservoir just to get by until it's resolved?

I have gotten myself a new pc, and it has fans, mixed with omen cryo chamber water cooling? Would I have to do anything with it? For example change out coolant or anything? Or will it be maintenance free? Thanks!

Hey everyone, a total custom loop noob here! As the titled says I'm purchasing all of the parts required to build a system that I've seen on YT.

Link below

https://youtu.be/ka4WsT4nXqs

I've never built a watercooled rig so I'll be finding a reputable local builder to do the assembly.

I am making one alteration to the build linked above by including this Alphacool Apex RAM Cooler in the loop;

https://www.ocgear.com.au/products/alphacool-apex-ram-x4-water-cooler-black?_pos=1&_sid=0be943e2b&_ss=r

https://www.ocgear.com.au/products/alphacool-core-ddr5-ram-modul-2-pcs?_pos=1&_sid=963b0e226&_ss=r

I'm also going with 3 rads on the back of the g20 instead of the chiller setup the YT build has.

I would be really grateful to get some guidance and a list of specifically which fittings and pipe I'll need to purchase in order to replicate this beautiful build. It would also be great to get advice on how many pumps I'll need and where they should be going. Furthermore, what possible issues and incompatibilities I might be facing with this build.

Thanks for reading!

I'm looking to watercool my 3080 card and was wondering what other gpus share the same pcb layout as my card as I've been having an impossible time sourcing a waterblock for my specific manufacturer
