Dumb question

found a guy selling simracing stuff worth over $5000 for $950. Message him, then he answers, unlists it and ghosts me. Next day another guy with the same exact description posts and its $1200. This a scam or nah? Plus the first posting was posted 3 months ago.

I've recently got back into playing some GTR2 when I have some time free and it's been such a blast playing it again after all these years

Back in the day I installed alot of mods, mainly from No Grip Racing which I saw no longer exists. Would like to install extra Cars and Tracks but is there any particularly good Car and Track content creators people would recommend or specific Cars and Tracks to get in general?

Well, as the title states, I just ordered a Fanatec Gran Turismo DD Pro. My first Direct Drive wheel, I've been using Logitech wheels up until now. Really excited about the upgrade and I'm hoping it will be a big upgrade in fun factor!

Then I started reading all the complaints about Fanatec here on this subreddit, both about their quality and customer support.

Now I'm just praying they're not shipping me a lemon 😬 Is it really as bad as it seems?

Since now we have telemtry to make a rpm led strip on a dashboard, could you use this for wheels rpm leds?. I have SLI max manager and a plugin does this for FH5 and my TS-PC. Has any other software besides Simhub integrated GT7 telemetry? TM licenced fanaleds and SLI to use the rpm leds on their wheels, so they have the drivers.

They dashboard is from youtuber Ham VR, at first i made some gauges for tire wear similar to ingame, but then realized the telemetry doesnt output it. So changed background, changed the rpm leds, added rpm gauge, vertical pedal gauges, and some other minor changes.

right now i'm facing the issue that i have to assemble my setup everytime i want to play and it's annoying so i'd love to have a rig where i could leave everything and just hop in whenever i want to play. should be affordable ( def under 1k ) <.<

the rig does not need to have a monitor mount or sth like that since i'm using a vr to play!

I'm planning to get it with a clubsport qr. I've been using a deep dish wheel for rallying this whole time but i want something more with an actual grip for 9 and 3 hand position. Is this the best fanatec option or should I get something else? My budget is $200

Hey all!

Ive been having a blast with the DD. However, in BEAM.NG i cannot really find the right settings. I have googled around but i have not found anything that really works.

Main problem i have is the lack of a "center spring" feeling. When i turn it, the car just steers MORE instead of wanting to return to center position which is what usually would happen.To elaborate on this: if i steer right, it feels as if the wheel is falling clockwise with increasing strength, as if something is pulling it to the right side, really weird driving experience.

It also happens when the car is stationary, i have to center the wheel manually. If it is only a little bit off center the wheel rotates aggressively towards the steering lock (900 degrees).

However, i cannot really find the settings im looking for.

Alltho these are used in 2022 and i know BEAM.NG has been updating it a lot. I am not running the wheel in compatibility model, as it is not recommended and it is recognized by the game.

Any tips on how to fix the weird steering?

As the title says, I’m a noob to simracing. I have the logi g923 and I love the wheel but the pedals are pretty basic.

I don’t really have the money to upgrade everything so I’d like to start with the pedals first. I really only play F1 on the PC and breaking without ABS assist is a nightmare and doesn’t feel very realistic at all with my current setup.

My main questions are: (1) can you have a logi wheel and fanatec pedals running simultaneously? (2) what pedals would you recommend as an upgrade?

Hey guys, i have a wheel stand from Extreme Simracing, the SXT v2. Im current using with a Fanatec CSL Elite (6nm).

I looking for a DD right now, so here is my question: do you guys think this cockpit can handle a 7 or 10nm DD?

Bought the RCP Sport with the single monitor mount, rock solid side mounts for fanatec, and the NRG Adjustable Back Comfort.

We have been attempting to put this together for 3 hours now, and just barely have the base together.

The boxes we have are: Sport Upper Kit Box C Sport IG Single Kit Box C Multi Base ??? Box B

Did anyone else struggle? Any good Youtube Videos or help? We have the instructions but with all the boxes, it seems we will have a lot of extra parts and we just can’t get everything together right.

I’m new to the Simracing community so my knowledge is limited but does anyone know of any simracing games that have vehicke customization similar to the mobile game Nitro Nation? I don’t care about customizing how a car looks, forget that. Im more interested in the specs of a car under the hood and changing out parts and what not. Is there a game that offers this on steam?

Preferable a game with offline capabilities.

I have a question for anyone who happened to own both the CSL Pedals with the load cell kit and the Elite V2 pedals. Did you ever just put the blue spring (or black) from the Elite V2 pedals into the CSL Pedals and see how that felt?

From a design point, these 2 pedals have a similar load cell design, so I was wondering if the small spring would be compatible and if the CSL Pedals would feel similar to the Elite V2.
