Has anyone else been facing issues with sport-streaming websites (sporturge, streamest, etc.,) not sticking to the live version of the game.

Lately, every time I watch an event, the stream will jump from one moment to the next; suddenly 'rewinding' 30 minutes before going back to live, and again and again (for example, I am watching the 3rd period, when suddenly the game switches back to the broadcast during the 2nd period for about a minute, then goes back to the 3rd period, and so on).

Just wondering if others are having the same issue.

Cheer!

I never really understood Real Debrid. I just paid a bit each month, followed a guide and watched stuff. Now there's all the hullabaloo with the authorities causing them to remove access to torrents (?) And then there were some tweets about Real Debrid actively discouraging torrent users and threatening to sell them out. Then there was another bit of info about Torrentio bypassing their restrictions?

I'm not really sure how all this works and how it ties together, so can someone explain the situation in simple terms?

I use a VPN, but surely RD can still see which files my account is accessing and snitch to the Filth if they want to, right?

just trying to save all videos+photos, not text posts or any other metadata

I was trying out 1fichier and it had a restriction to download 1 file every 60 min or something.

I was using a vpn to download the 1st file, but for downloading 2nd file I started a windows sandbox and installed a vpn there and started downloading it.

am i going the correct path?

I have several questions and I don't know where to start.

  • Where can I download the original PS2 and PS3 game box arts? (both front art, back art and spines)
  • What material are PS2/PS3 Game Box Arts/Covers made of? I don't think it's normal paper, right? Because the feel of the originals feels very soft and smooth
  • What are the sizes of PS2 and PS3 game Box Arts? I mean, when I'm going to photocopy the Box Arts, what size ratios do I ask the guy who will be in charge of photocopying them to do?

I need a cheap offline media player for a poor disabled person to use. Like one of those android tv boxes from around ten years ago. Something that will work with a usb hard drive. The person doesn't have internet. What are people using now?

Thanks, scallywags!

EDIT: Looking for hardware to run android on a tv... People suggesting apps, VLC will work find and I can teach her how to use it..

Recently someone on here said they don't bother with torrent websites and just search for their torrents via the QBITORRENT search feature.

Besides filtering by seeds how are we picking here? we cant see upoader..so most seeds is safest? at least with the websites you can stick to trusted uploaders

I always wanted to buy a switch and found the switch with the zelda edition and I am a big zelda fan and I have not been able to play all of them in the past bc of money but now I can buy one without any problems but I was wondering if is worth it as I could just download an emulator.

Is the experience on the switch that much different? Things like controls, " feelings" , obv the fact that it was made for a switch, the port function and playing it on a big screen vs a pc. I would be playing it on a keyboard but I can buy a control and I have a strong pc so requirements wont be an issue.

Is the switch good enough to justify buying it? Or should I just emulate the game. Any experience comparing the 2?

I am asking here bc of obvious reasons and other reddits dont allow it.

[SERIOUS]

Just got my first pc and realized I spent all my money on specs and have none left for games.

I really want to learn how to pirate and not get a virus.

Also what sites are safe and what sites aren't.

So far all I've found is Cams and of course I wouldn't be shocked if it were to stay that way for a while but every now and then I get lucky and find a press release copy or something like that. Thanks in advance!!

Most websites in the megathread seem to only have a handful at most (like Marco Polo Boombap Essentials vol. 1 and 2).

Thanks in advance!

I know this is not strictly piracy related but Im flying to to Spain from the UK next week and I notice that streaming services and Youtube Premium is cheaper in Europe than in the UK.

While I am located there, I have the option of signing up to a service however when it comes to adding my payment details, all my bank accounts (including Paypal) is registered in the UK so thats where they catch me out. Is it possible to sign up to a Paypal style bank but be registered in Europe so I can proceed with the sign up?

I'm just writing this because I feel like it but basically my point is, even if something is on a streaming service, I'll still choose to pirate it.

To preface this, I have Disney+, Netflix and Amazon Prime. Now, this started essentially when I went to watch Top Gun Maverick on Netflix and even when it was on 4k, it was just horrible to watch. The bitrate was so low that it essentially made the watching the film less enjoyable than say if I had a Blu-ray. Another gripe with this is you just don't know what kind of sound you're getting, if you're getting Dolby Atmos or some shitty compressed audio and quite frankly, it sucked, especially when you've put money into getting a really nice TV setup and speakers.

So, the alternative is of course to pirate. And it's so easy. I turn on my VPN, get a 50gb 4k file with everything I need; HDR, Dolby Atmos, High Bitrate, and OLED compatibility. Then after downloading the file, I just stream it directly from my PC to my TV with Plex, then in plex I can freely download subtitles, tune the compression, switch between audio codecs, etc..... and essentially just get more features from something that is free. And the best part is, watching it of course, crystal clear quality equivalent to buying a Blu-ray in a store, which I will do for films that I want the true experience, like the Nolan Films.

This doesn't just apply to Netflix of course; I've found the bitrate on Disney+ to be fantastic and it is the clear winner when it comes to streaming quality. But.... I have an ultrawide and Disney+ just doesn't support that, even for ultrawide films, I just get black bars all-round. Easy fix by just downloading it and again, watching it on Plex. This only applies when I'm watching something on my PC, but still... And Amazon recently started introducing ads into my subscription which is ridiculous. But the reason I'm writing this is because I stopped watching a film halfway through last night and this morning, I went to finish it and it's no longer available????

I will pay for subscription services if it is beneficial to me, such as Spotify premium simply because it is good. Movie streaming services are no longer 'the better option'. Netflix, Amazon and Disney+ just won't offer the same quality as a pirated service will.

TLDR; Quality and features of streaming services sucks, pirating will give you a better viewing experience in every way possible.

Our samsung tv has Tizen OS dont even get me started on how ass it is. Can’t use playstore for piracy friendly apps, can’t use adblocks, cant do shit.

It would make our lives much better to be able to open a streaming piracy site and just watch the show. Instead, wherever i click, a pop op opens up, i close it, click on play and another pop up emerges.

I’ve heard about streaming devices, firestick chromecast etc…

Thing is, i dont live in The US or europe so i’m not sure what to buy.

What im looking for in a streaming device:

1- should work in a developing country

2- should allow adblocking (this is the most important feature)

3- wont require me to buy an upgraded version of the device every few years

4- if possible, convenience in watching football ⚽️ streams.

But really the most important part is adblock

I'm writing a novel, but a friend of mine has gotten me a interview with a publisher so they can read it and maybe publish it in the future, the problem is that I wrote it with a pirated version of Scrivener since I haven't even finished it, I thought about copying and pasting everything into some other editor like Manuskript, but I don't know if that would keep everything in order as far as text fonts and stuff like that, or if there's a quicker and more comfortable alternative, since the presentation is tomorrow (technically in a few hours, it start in 7 hours to be precise) so I don't think I'll have time to read and review everything again by hand if something goes wrong, and they've asked me to bring the pdf on a pendrive, for now I'm doing it this way, but obviously it would be better to simply "clean" the pdf so I can deliver the 19 chapters I've written instead of just 10 or so that I can correct as much as possible since I also have many grammatical errors as it is literally the "initial" version without polishing or anything.

Edit: Thank you all so much, really! In the end it all went... meh, they said my writing style was "unnecessarily confusing and simple, it reads more like a script" and that "The sex scenes are few and far between, we could cut them to make the novel suitable for a wider audience." although on the good side, they also said "The plot has potential and the world building is good, the characters need more definition but are realistic, rewrite it in a proper writing style and we'll seriously consider giving you a contract." so now I'll have to rewrite the whole thing... but at least I'll do it in Word, it has everything I was using anyway, and it's a lot simpler.
