This might be an old question, I don’t come here often. I’m pretty new to anime and have been binging some shows but I don’t have any streaming services or the money to buy them, so I’ve been using a website that pretty clearly has pirated them, and I don’t really know how I feel about that. is it ethical, would the animators still be paid if I used Hulu instead?

I don’t care about the adds or anything, I just want to know how much harm I am doing to the animators and studios, and how I can support them if I’m watching their shows via piracy.

So, we all know those """Spotify rippers""" who just download from YouTube but still claim their files are sourced from Spotify. Since YouTube only offers up to 128 or maybe 256kbps, they artificially upscale it to present it as 320kbps. I've been diving into FLAC files for better sound quality, but it turns out that format isn't immune to that kind of trickery either.

I've noticed a few Qobuz, Deezer, and Tidal rippers that claim they can provide FLAC files, but I'm skeptical. It's not just that I don't trust the rippers; I also have doubts about the services themselves. After all, they are streaming platforms, and if the files were really large and took forever to load, no one would want to pay for them.

Is there a reliable way to determine if my FLAC files are genuinely high quality and not just renamed formats or actual FLAC with altered metadata? Are there specific tools (preferably online, so I don't have to download one-time use software) or methods to verify their integrity and authenticity? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! I know there are rippers where you input a url from a digital FLAC website and you get an album in high quality FLAC but what I would love is something that

1 - finds each of the corresponding songs from a spotify playlist

2 - individually rips them into a high fidelity playlist

is something like that feasible to make?

I love listening to playlists on my phone but I would love to listen to high fidelity playlists on a whim while I'm out and about and I don't have the time or patience to curate something like that myself piece by piece.

I'm not asking how I can make a tool, I don't code. I'm just asking is something like this possible and how practical would be?

I'm currently re-ripping my spotify liked playlist and I can't notice any difference when ripping them in Spotify High, Very High Quality and TIDAL Flac. Spotify High quality songs mp3 file size is 4MB whereas TIDAL FLAC file size is 45MB (!!). I'm only using Baseus WM01 earbuds and I'm sure it plays a big part in it so I'm wondering how much should one spend in headphones/earphones if they want to experience the difference in quality.

Is there any way to remove ads in the new version of Outlook, particularly on the "Other" tab (next to "Focused")? I've noticed I'm starting to receive ads there, and it's getting annoying. Is there a way to block or remove them without having to buy a subscription? Any tips or workarounds would be much appreciated! Thanks!
