To the people who upload the videos and music, the people who code the Vanced app and the Adblockers, the people who maintain the streaming sites: thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You've improved my life drastically by keeping ads out of my life. Thank you so much for all you do, it doesn't go unnoticed 💖

There is a crap ton of stuff I would just love to be able to watch with my little siblings without needing to worry about paying attention to whatever icky scene is coming up. Is it possible to use a site like Clearplay or Vidangel with whatever pirating streaming site I’m using? Or a similar alternative.

An example of one that does not work is readcomiconline. And all the other ones I have tried simply dont have an advanced search at all.

For me Piracy is not about avoiding paying, for me it's about having the files locally, with everything. Music, movies, shows, etc... If there were an option to pay for downloads on Netflix per Movie / Show / whatever, I'd be doing that absolutely but there just isn't. Thus I pirate everything. I pay for Tidal so that I can rip all the music from there and add it to my plex server for example. Anyone else?

Hey guysI appreciate any feedback and help you're able to give me. My wife and I aren't very savvy, but we've been using Kodi for the last 12 years. Last year we even started to pay and use real debrid because the streams were faster and clearer. Apparently "The Crew" stopped working and we don't know what to use? We have a firestick and usually just updated the app watching a video on YT. Last week we received an email from spectrum. For the 1st time we caught caught with the date, show, and time stamped to it. We're scared to use it again. Any suggestions on what services for a firestick? I figured you're the people that could help us. I appreciate your time

Just musing about a thing. I see a lot of complaints about the effects of tablets and smartphones on kids, how it creates a need for instant gratification, lowers attention spans, and reduces the ability to problem solve independently.

But a lot of us grew up with computers and stuff in our homes, and seemingly didn’t suffer from those effects (as much, at least). The difference was that it was hard and you had to figure out how to do what you wanted, often completely independently, because your parents didn’t know how they worked, or didn’t care to show you. I will never forget the feeling of finally getting dialup to work in a remote location after days of attempts. Or how it felt when I burnt my first CD after fucking with limewire for what felt like 1000 years.

So I’m wondering: do we think giving kids a PC or an old PSP or something and saying “you have no money, figure out how to get Roblox on here, it is possible” or whatever could teach them resilience and problem solving and delayed gratification and shit, while simultaneously not cutting them off from their peers who are into that kind of stuff?

Obviously you would put a vpn on your router, and possibly set up a backup situation for when they inevitably brick their shit.

Thoughts?

I always see people try and come up with justifications on how it's ok to pirate from AAA game studios, big movie studios etc, but they draw the line at indie devs, mom and pop shops etc. I always viewed piracy as a tech barrier that if you don't know how to overcome you pay your way through.

I don't really resonate with the "if buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing" or "it's ok to pirate content (game/shows/movies) from AAA or big studios". I'm ok with stealing. I'm ok with calling it stealing.. I'm ok with stealing from big and small companies.

I only pay for things I can't pirate/steal. The only real things I "have" to pay for other than the normal stuff like food/rent/utilities is my internet connection and a game subscription to Retail WoW. I pirate PC/Mobile games, software, tv shows, movies, porn, and much more because I can.

In general, if you pirate, what are you lines?

So, I always watch my stuff on a big tv where I got my laptop connected via hdmi, but I got a room with another tv where it would be a hassle to bring the laptop because of space. I was thinking about getting one of these streaming devices (roku, chromecast, etc.) but I've never owned one and I don't know much about them. I don't care enough about what they can do right out of the box but about what they can do beyond that.

Which one is more pirate friendly? If there's even something like that. I'd like something that beyond the basic stuff would also let me search the internet so I can watch the same streaming sites (the not legal kind) I watch on pc, and iptv stuff.

Any recommendation is appreciated, also if you can point me somewhere to learn more about iptv that would be great cause I'm also ignorant about it.

where would you suggest I look for a good VPN? Never used one, no idea what is good or bad, except Bit Defender, that one seems bad

i'm interested in growing my physical media collection and i've been trying to copy full dvds, including ads, menus, and special features onto new dvd disks with very little success..

i've been able to rip movies directly to my computer with features but have not found a way to burn them back onto the dvds. i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to go about this?

i already searched the sub a number of times but there's really only advice about ripping directly onto a computer or hard drive, not copying the media to another dvd.

as I mentioned, PC abruptly & automatically shuts down after installation of Premier Pro from m0nkrus's VK Link. This never happened before and the first time i saw this happening was when i was installing it. i restarted my system and the installation begin from where it was left. but usually i do get a warning before the battery is too low and system has to shut down because of it.

Is it due to some malware from the crack? or is it some hardware issue. Should i uninstall and delete the download? is this serious?
