Went to a fundraiser to sing with my choir, which for reference was roughly 15 people. While at the table after our performance, a dad and his two boys passes by and, before anyone could react, took the last three doughnut treats.

It was a tiny box of 25, and not labelled for sharing. Meant to be a reward for us waking up at 05:30 to prepare for the event. I'm still kinda mad lol

For reference, I was diagnosed when I was 13 so I'm not slandering a different group of people. Other may have different experiences with it, but it is ultimately a disfunction that you're stuck with permanently and can only be treated and not cured. It's a curse.

One of my friends claims to have ADHD because she has trouble paying attention to certain things. Can't talk to her without her bringing it up and she uses it as a scapegoat to ignore responsibilities, or deny responsibility when she makes a mistake. I frequently hear he say "Oh I'm just ADHD" and laugh about it. Idk if she's even been diagnosed, but it makes me sick.

I see tik toks all the time about "A day in the life with ADHD" and its just some person doing makeup or promoting their brand or exaggeratively making ticks, noises, or fidgeting.

The use of the phrase: "ADHD is a gift" is one of the most deplorable fucking things in existence and I don't know where it comes from or why.

Don't be like this.

This morning while in the kitchen, my roommate asked if he could have some of my peanut butter. I said sure but as he was putting it on bread, he put his fingers directly into the jar and pulled out a big scoop to lick from his fingers.

I told him that's nasty as hell and he should buy me a new jar. He didn't see what was wrong with it and refuses to buy me a new jar. He has used my peanut butter in the past so I probably have been eating his finger germs.

There I was at the VA getting my blood work and my face buried in my phone when I hear, "what the hell is that" followed by some giggles and more horrible comments.

I look up to see one of my battle buddies from the war walking by, she has since transitioned from Male to Female since leaving the military. She is also 100% disabled and rightfully so, we got shot at damn near every day over there.

I lose it and start cussing out the old timers and telling them they need to do better.

I get threatened by the VA police for causing a disruption.

Edit: My friend and I both live in the same city and go to the same VA. Lots of love and some hate, thanks I more or less just needed a space to vent!

Edit: Wow, I really pissed some of you off?!
