Disclaimer: I'm Italian, my family is Italian.

My mom just bought some fresh ricotta cheese and mixed it with pasta (as always). The problem is that she rarely buys fresh ricotta that has a more delicate taste compared to non fresh one. She put so much olive oil, it feels like I'm drinking it straight up from the bottle. I was looking forward to this dinner 'cause I haven't had fresh ricotta cheese in years :')) That's it.

A few months ago I entered an adult spelling bee at the local library with a coworker. I was fulfilling a childhood dream of always wanting to participate in a spelling bee (idk why my community never had them growing up). We pulled numbers to determine the order in which we went. I pulled the number 1 card so I was first up. The woman looked me dead in the eyes and said spell “Will-Duh” (I’m giving the word to you phonetically so you know exactly how she pronounced it). Easy enough I thought, “W-I-L-L-E-D”, “I’m sorry that is incorrect”. I was completely dumbfounded, what other way is there to spell “Will-Duh”. She moves onto the next contestant with the same word who, noticing my plight, says “can you use it in a sentence?”, “to Wil-Duh a sword”. I realize with sudden horror that the word she is meaning to pronounce is “wield”, “W-I-E-L-D” says my opponent. “Correct” announces the woman. I am officially out of the spelling bee on the first word of the first round, crushing my childhood ambitions.

TLDR; The woman announcing the local adult spelling bee had a strong southern accent and therefore pronounced “wield” as “willed” and I made the mistake of not asking her to use it in a sentence.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Always ask for the word to be used in a sentence and NEVER announce a spelling bee if you have a strong accent.

I just moved into this apartment in September and my big back ass upstairs neighbours have been stomping through the concrete floor. I understand we live in an apartment and we will hear noise but this is CONSTANT 24/7 heel driving into the floor. It doesn’t matter what time of night or day it is, they are suplexing the fucking floor with their big ass clown shoes.

They woke up my entire floor at 1am because they decided to change their furniture around. Everyone came out into the hall trying to figure out what was going on. Don’t worry guys the people upstairs decided their entire living room needed to be switched RIGHT THIS SECOND.

I have never seen these people but god help me if I ever do i’m throwing KFC chicken at their forehead since they are obviously ginormous large if i can hear their every foot step THROUGH LITERALLY CONCRETE. We’ve contemplated running up there and banging the shit out of their door at 4am so they can understand how it feels to be constantly DISTURBED but we aren’t interested in irritating everyone else around them.

Anyways. The landlord won’t do shit so we’ll be breaking the lease soon & good luck to whoever rents it after us. Your 2k apartment comes with free insanity. Yay!

Original Title: We had new siding put on the house and the contractor has been slow to remove the garbage. During the night the wind blew small pieces onto the driveway where they were covered with 2” snow. Despite my husband being mindful he ran over them and now the blower is jammed and unusable.
