Today I was on a bus, in a very safe suburb in a nice city at 4pm. People came on board to check our public transport cards, and they stopped next to this guy that looked pretty haggard, and wrote him a ticket. Whole time, this guy behind him had his phone in the officer's face recording him, and his partner turned around. The officer spoke nothing but respectfully and yeah sure it sucks that you're getting a ticket but they're doing their jobs and being nothing less than polite.

I get that people record stuff to prove injustice of whatnot actually happened - but jeez maybe wait until anything problematic at all actually happens before whipping it out in people's faces that are doing nothing wrong, thinking you're doing something heroic??

Spent $13 at Taco Bell and all I got was a Mexican Pizza, chips and queso (which was like 7 chips maybe) and one hard shell taco. And it wasn’t even good lmao next time I’m definitely going to Chipotle

Went to Costco and grabbed a quick slice of pizza. They called my number and before I could walk 5 feet to get it. Someone else took it.

It’s Costco so they made me another one. But man. Never had that happen before.

My wife’s aunt gifted us with 7lbs of ground venison. My wife didn’t know what to do with it so it has just sat in our freezer for months. Today she said “we should just throw this out since I don’t know what to do with it.” And I said “Nah, just set it out and I’ll handle it.” So this evening I go to the store and buy all the fixings and come home and cook venison stuffed bell peppers. It comes out fantastic and tastes delicious. I go to my wife and ask her if she is ready for dinner and she said, “For what you made?! I can’t eat venison… it made me sick the last time I ate it.” I’m gob smacked… why did we keep it for even a second if it’s something you can’t fucking eat?! She refuses to eat them and I feel dumb for trying to show out and cook dinner. Now I have 10 venison stuffed peppers to eat this week and the wife is mad at me for making her feel like shit.

So, I moved into an apartment last year in October when I saw the apartment, and it didn't smell like cigarettes. When I moved in 3 weeks later, it still didn't smell like cigarettes. I'm realizing now that it's because it was in a month where the window downstairs could be open. All of my clothes smell like cigarettes. My bathroom and my kitchen reek like cigarettes. But I'm also between a rock and a hard place because this person is so large and old that they're borderline immobile/disabled. All winter, I have a tickle in my throat that feels like I've been smoking. Sometimes the smell is so strong I get headaches and can't use my office/games room.

Where I live, this violates my tenant rights(reasonable enjoyment). But I'm not leased(verbal agreement and rent receipts) to the unit, so I don't want to cause grief.

Sometimes, I (a fully grown man(31 years)) have full-on fits when I get home from work to relax because my whole apartment stinks like cigarette smoke, and it's terrible.

I'm sure my cat doesn't appreciate it either!

Note: My rent is so cheap. It's just something I have to deal with. (800$ cheaper than an average equivalant).
