My work depends on the weather. So if it snows out like it did today, sometimes my boss says to wait. That's what happened this morning.

"Snowing like crazy" he says, "wait a bit. I'll update you in a few minutes."

I wait...and wait...nothing. I shoot him a text asking for an update. Nothing.

4 hrs later, I get a text: "So you're not coming in today?"

I send back "You never told me to."

"I told you twice.."

I send him a screenshot of our exchange. No messages from him. This is not the first time this has happened. My phone has no issues receiving texts from anybody else's phone except his. But he says I need to get a better phone or fix it.

Not sure what he expects me to do, march over to Verizon? Either way, that's my mildlyinfuriating story.

I work in an office Tuesday thru Thursday, data entry and validation type work mainly, so I do not have to be on phones or otherwise dealing with customers. Today, I brought in my MP3 player and headphones, and put on some music while I worked, and for a few songs, I was whisper-singing along, doing my best to be quiet so as not to disturb my coworkers. My boss messaged me on Teams asking me not to do that as it can be distracting to coworkers, which I said I would stop, but there are others that will talk and laugh and such much louder than what I was doing, and, to my knowledge, no one tells them it's distracting.

My husband has always done this but it impacted me today so here we are. My husband always sets his alarms an hour or two before he needs to get up. They go off every 15 minutes. He turns them off and goes back to sleep.

I, however, have insomnia. I cannot go back to sleep that quickly. Sometimes I will ask him to get up just so the alarms aren't going off or I'll get up myself.

I did not want to get up early this morning because I had a shit sleep. Three alarms went off so I asked him to get up. He said in a few minutes. Another alarm went off. I asked again. He said that "I still have over an hour before I need to be up".

So guess who's up now. Yea, not him. Me.

Edit: No idea how this blew up but the people suggesting that I should divorce him or that he's "abusing" me... stop. I get that maybe yall have some fucked up situations going on at home but don't project that shit on to me.
