I got a 1/4 sheet bday cake yesterday for my party. After me and my friends were done, and my mom had a piece, there were 7 pieces left. This was at 5pm yesterday. I go to have a piece of cake this morning and there’s only three left. WTF?!!! My mom ate over half the remaining pieces of MY OWN BIRTHDAY CAKE! And one of the pieces has to go to my grandma so that means there’s only two pieces left for me. I get 3 and my mom gets 5. She has an issue with not being able to control herself around sweets, but I thought maybe she wouldn’t eat so much of her daughters bday cake. I love my mom don’t get me wrong, and I know there’s bigger issues in this world, but I’m still mad about it. And when I confronted her she got all mad as if she didn’t eat over half the remaining pieces of my cake…

Edit: she judt asked me make peanut butter cookies, which I made last week, and i told her no bc we don’t have any flour. So she bought flour. She wants me to make cookies as if she didn’t just eat 5 pieces of my cake. 5 big pieces btw, they were little tiny things.

Second weekend in a row, I went to McDonald’s in the morning for coffee at 4 AM to be told so we’re doing a system update for 15 minutes or so. Sigh. Mildly Infuriating indeed what a shitty time to be doing update. Maybe my timing is bad?

My ex neighbours are in a very bitter financial situation for years. They moved to a more remote area for lower rent. My mum is the patron of the families son, went shopping with him for new shoes and stuff, because her mother asked for it "bec I am low on money". She has some sort of autoimmune illness and can't work. Her new husband was unemployed for years.

My mum paid for the sons stuff happily for a few years, till they once invited us for a grill party where we saw that she had 5 new tattoos, they had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 lizards and a fishtank. They both smoked and the cigarettes were bought at the local restaurant for 40% more than at the tabacco store. My mum asked her how much that stuff cost and since then she stopped supporting her. They could have bought their kids all they needed just by stopping with the cigarettes and getting rid of the stupid lizards.

Now a year ago the sun fell on his head skateboarding. He is completely out, can't even move his eyes, so they had to move elsewhere into a more wheelchair suitable house. They asked for donations through local newspapers and got a few thousand bucks for a bed lift, a ramp and stuff. And now guess where another 1000 bucks of the donation went? Into Fukcing CHRISTMASLIGHTS!!! The most useless stuff in their current situation. How can people be so inconsiderate to buy stuff like this if there are more important things for the disabled son to buy.

Same goes for my sister. She always complains about not having money. She is 10 years older than me, has a higher school education but lives in a 80qm flat on rent while I bought a house at age 25 just by saving for years. She goes partying every weekend, takes 3-5 day trips all over Europe 10 times a year, buys luxury items such as last gen iPhones, Air pods... And then she calls my mum for 500 bucks because her account is nearly empty and she needs money for her rent.

I really hate it when I’m watching a video and you can’t even say the word sexual assault. You can’t say rape, you can’t say die, you can’t see all these words that are, unfortunately part of life. Why? Are people that traumatized just by seeing the words?
