I am absolutely livid..

My coworker went to rolling loud last week. And came back with an awful cold. Walked in with his own tissue box and was gross.

I was a little uncomfortable because you could just tell he was SO SICK. Ffs he brought his own boxes of tissues and used all of them! He was coughing and brought cough drops and all of the above. I told him one day that if he felt so bad he should probably just go home and he would go home in lunch to take a nap clearly fighting his cold. I’ve worked with him for 2 days!!!

I told him I swore I was immunocompromised because I always get sick when others are so sick

And now I HAVE A COLD! I’m coughing up and lung and praying I don’t have a runny nose! I’m so angry. Last time I was sick I put a mask on as to not spread my germs to my coworkers. We work on communal iPads together in small spaces and constantly are next to eachother.

The company also came out and said we’re all required to work everyday until Christmas and I’m even more angry cause now depending on how bad this cold gets I could be down and out during the high season because SOMEONE ELSE decided to not take the steps to stay the hell home or wear a mask.

I always go by the rule of if you’re snotty and gross you should probably stay home. If you have a cough or just are getting over a cold wearing a mask will keep your coworkers safe. Even more so checking for covid after traveling!!!! I’m disgusted cause of also imagining how germs are passed from one person to another he has to of been a walking infection for me to get sick within 2 days of contact.

Nonetheless I’m now pissed off with a painful cough and a headache.. 😔 not sure if it’s even worth saying something about it.
