Hey y’all, new to the computer world especially when it comes to gaming.

I initially bought this rig right before the start of the pandemic because my 2015 MacBook Pro was too slow for Avid and After Effects during Grad School. Over the pandemic I found out I could game through steam (& what steam was).

I now use it to stream through twitch either capture carding from my switch or playing a game on the iMac I’m streaming off of as well.

That being said, I would really love some kind of direction of anywhere to start of what I should know on how to optimally run games on an iMac.

I know this rig isn’t optimal, it was fine to do everything I wanted up until this year when games started becoming more GPU intensive.

Thanks, really appreciate this
