I was looking through reddit and noticed that the market for print recycling is fairly scarce. I came up with an idea for a service that takes your failed prints, waste filament, and other prints you no longer want and makes spools of filament out of them. Once you send enough, (around a little more than a kilo) you get a discount on the recycled filament spools that are available/ you receive a filament spool of recycled filament. Not a serious thought, (yet 👀) but I thought it could be interesting.

Hi everyone,

I've printed a lampshade with natural transparent PETG from eSun with a Bambulab P1S. It was my first time printing PETG.

I've used these settings:

  • 100% Infill

  • 0.12mm layers

  • 30mm/s speed

  • With ironing

  • 0.4mm Nozzle

The lampshade has a wall thickness of 3mm. I've drawn the lampshade in FreeCAD and exported it as 3mf file to hopefully avoid corners. Why do I still have some corners, and why are there "transparent" triangles at the bottom of the lampshade?

What settings do you use for Transparent PETG?
