I have always noticed this weird line that goes up every thing I print on my cr10s pro v2.5 and I have a project that requires that line to not be there for tolerance purposes, it is a sliding mechanism that cannot be sanded because the line is on the inside. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I want to learn how to model some action figures from Perfect World International in order to print them.

Do you have any course recommendations? I'm an absolute beginner :D

Just cracked the seal on a new roll of Inland Marble PLA from Microcenter, and it is beautiful! First time using marble PLA and it looks amazing. Currently printing a 16 hours bust of Hippocrates, and my first layer went down immaculately on my Neptune 3 pro. I will be monitoring it meticulously but based off the first layers it looks like it should go great. My N3P has been printing like a champ lately so I have faith. May everyone printing today be blessed with perfect layers and good fortune as well.

My Wife and Father in law are trying to use the Polymaker Break Away Support filament but running into issues using it on their Pruska 3D printer. It's clogging up the nozzle. It's also not sticking to itself well but also sticks to the base pretty well. It's set to 230 Celsius printing temperature and a bed temp of 60 Celsius.

Any ideas?

I'm trying to get a very specific print made and I can't seem to find files so need someone to make them for me. If anyone does commissions let me know and I will provide more details in a DM. (The project is a surprise and I don't want them finding out about it)

I'm brand new to 3D printing, and my use case is for functional parts, adapters, etc., for woodworking tools. As a test case, I tried to print a rectangular solid that is 4.5 in. long, 1.5 in. wide, and 1 in high. The result is a solid that is 4.4815 in x 1.4185 in x 0.999 in. Obviously the height is near perfect, but I am surprised that the length and width were off by as much as they were (about 0.5% and 5%, respectively). So I'm wondering if this is within expected margin of error for my printer, there is something I need to calibrate, or if there are settings in Bambu Labs that I need to change when I need highly precise prints.

I used a Bambu P1S with a 0.4mm nozzle, Inland PETG+, with 0.1mm layer height, default line width of 0.5mm, and 100% infill. (I'm not sure if other settings might be relevant).

Any thoughts? Thanks.

I plan to print those measuring cubes you can see online, but I am worried about the microplastics, what could I seal it with? I would need it before Christmas so Amazon prime delivery or somewhere like Menards would be great.

I'm currently printing one of those joke screw boxes for Christmas. but It's taking too long because cura sliced it to have 100 z retractions per layer so it can put down 100 random dots.

not sure of settings to change but kinda anoying

Yesterday I printed a dice tower in a red and black silk filament. I was super impressed with the way the color-change helps hide the layer lines, and I was wondering if there is a color combination that anyone knows about that would be great to make a natural looking castle? Like maybe a light and dark grey mix if it existed? Anyone have any ideas?

Hello! I bought myself a P1S, but on 0.6 hardened nozzle it seems i can push around 18mm^3/s.

Are there any recommended hotends that can push this further so i can print faster? I saw some BIQU BBT Revo hotend, and they say it can push up to 40mm^3/s but i highly doubt that with just 60W of power. Is this a worthwhile upgrade? I saw one review of it but it was kind of useless as dude was using a 0.4 nozzle and just said that flow rate is not that important to print speed... Clearly he never used a 0.6 or 0.8 where flow rate is kinda everything as its super easy to hit volumetric limits with bigger nozzles. So i have no idea how much can it flow on 0.6 :(
