seconded for bazzite. I just came from cachyos (arch based) because it was missing a wayland component to make vr work. I had bazzite on my steam deck already so I figured I'd give it a shot on my pc. everything I wanna do works with minimal to no tinkering required, and I'm glad to know if I break something I can easily roll back in grub.
one morning I was headed to school and I witnessed this one car driving a little erratically while on the highway, I managed to get past them but kept an eye on my rear mirror, less than a minute later they slammed into another car causing a crash.

worst bank ive ever had the displeasure of using, they'd take a $12 "service fee" out of my account that I was using for savings for not having direct deposit set up for it, while I was struggling financially. way to kick someone while they're down.

that is kinda what I'm trying to do. truenas is nice and all but its also pretty advanced and not beginner friendly when it comes to a lot of things. I've heard a lot about casaos from a youtuber that I like to watch, but I never realized that it was more of a nas os than just a platform to run applications. I'll give it a shot! thanks for the recommendation.

haven't seen any comments mentioning connect yet, so that would be my recommendation. by far the most fully featured and smooth lemmy app imo and its my favorite. I've used most other apps but I always come back to connect because of all the different ways I can customize it and all the settings I can change that I simply don't see in a lot of other apps.
just switched over to lemmy.zip after realizing that lemm.ee is kinda dead, glad to be here in a place with active admins, and a community that aligns a little more with me!
it truly is a sad thing to view. I'm 100% sure if conservatives weren't reaping the benefits of the left without giving anything in return in my union we'd be so much better off wage and benefits wise. I cannot comprehend how union members can support trump, who supports project 2025 and therefore the stripping of our rights we've fought for for over 100 years to get to the place they're at now.
