I read this as a preemptive response, like with a silent “inb4”

Personally my arch install is almost boring me with how stable it’s been - and if anything goes wrong, it backs itself up before and after every single update plus on every boot just cuz, so I can roll back to wherever I want. I’ve put a lotta work into building out all these redundancies I’m happy with, and arch has been so goddamn stable I haven’t even had an excuse to use them. The process of getting a complete install was absolutely not “it works” - but now that I’m there, yeah, it really does just work. My only complaint is that I don’t have any reason to tinker with it more.

Obligatory fuck ford - the irony of his corrupt ass calling anyone else greedy is almost funny - but more importantly why would this be a problem? The article says Singh denies the pension is a factor, but if he wanted to hold out a little longer to get the money that he’s earned then… good for him? They don’t even seem to be accusing him of prioritizing that over the public good or anything, just of wanting money that he *checks notes* worked for and would meet the criteria to claim? The ability to scoff at being paid for your political work is a red flag to me (might indicate corruption/generational wealth/etc), and they’re really out here acting like it’s a moral requirement for office.

It physically hurts me to say anything in facebook’s defence, but to be fair this is an account centre link to an account config page

Yeah nah gay guy here to ruin your theory - I’ve got absolutely no attraction to boobs and/or feminine asses. I’m sure some tendency towards bisexuality is more common than strict homo/hetero-sexuality, but I strongly doubt I’m alone in this either.

Ffs? Is that a trans term or 4chan slang?

Yea as opposed to the windows method of “just open regedit and navigate 8 folders below HKEY_CURRENT_USER to change some ambiguous system variable in hex” lmao

I’ll take editing a text file in /etc/ for my configuration any day

Never thought I’d have to give the Texas government credit for anything tbh, but I’m glad to be wrong. Now if they wanna keep this momentum going and repeal all the awful dehumanizing laws they’ve passed recently, maybe I’d even start to respect them lmao

Yes but like it or not, it’s a threeway with zuck

I agree that everything else on the list was shit, but Quebec… banning religious symbols for public sector workers honestly sounds like a good idea to me as long as it’s fairly applied. If they use it to disproportionately target muslims or something and allow Christian shit, then yea I’d agree it’s bad - but a blanket ban on religion while you’re representing the government sounds great to me.

You can also just hold power + volume up while it’s locked, once you feel the buzz it won’t accept biometrics until you put in the password.
