My issue with going back is Reddit doesn't WANT me back. I'm not wanted there. I was intentionally cut out from using the site because I use a 3rd party app exclusively. Why would I go where I'm obviously not wanted? I feel wanted here. The sync developer is making an app for Lemmy. I'm wanted here, people want me to make content, and interact in the comments. Why would I want to go back to Reddit?
I feel like if you don't want someone to know about something in the data you give them, maybe don't put that information into the data you give them? I think it's ludicrous for them to believe that it's actually illegal for individuals to look at and decipher the code in the product they've purchased.
I switched from Spotify to YouTube Music because I was under the impression I could use YouTube Music to play any song that is currently on YouTube. Apparently, that's not how it works and it was actually much harder to find not only music I had on Spotify, but there are many songs from YouTube that you couldn't even get on YouTube music, making it a shittier version of listening to songs from YouTube. The service is pretty pathetic.
I use Protonmail and I really love it. Has anyone had experience with their password manager?
